![]() ![]() ![]() > It doesn't appear to be device corruption, as mentioned, I tested by connecting to a Windows machine and both drives show as they should, and I can read and write with either of the drives. It is not connected to a hub but directly to the Mini, the same way it was tested on the Windows machine. ![]() > It's not a power / cable issue- I used all the same cables and cords and it connects and works correctly with a Windows machine. Most of what you've typed I addressed in my post: All appears to be fine with the external drives. Looking for suggestions of what to check and or use. I returned the 5 Bay to the Mini, unplugged the other USB drive, plugged in the 5 Bay, powered it, gave it a minute to boot, then booted the Mini. ![]() I have a friend coming Fri who offered to bring their 2014 Mini for me to test it with, but for now I have not been able to test it on another instance of OS-X. All worked as normal I am able to read and write to both HDDs. I then:Moved entire 5 Bay unit, including same USB cable, to another machine - Windows machine.
